The long battle is nearing its end game. On Monday over 200 local residents turned out for a silent protest at the site meeting for local councillors and the planners. There is a local meeting tonight, which I cannot attend as I am in Westminster but the local councillors will be there. The formal planning meeting is on October 30 at the Mart in Hexham.
