Let's celebrate National Parks Week

This week is National Parks Week, and with one of the UK’s most beautiful National Parks right here in the Hexham constituency, what better way to celebrate the week than by paying a visit?

Events are taking place throughout this week designed to take in Northumberland National Park. With guided walks, bike rides and an opportunity to watch Friday’s lunar eclipse, there is something for everyone. Why not have a look at the link below to find out what’s on in the National Park this week?- it’s so important that we appreciate the beautiful scenery we have on our doorstep.

One of the UK’s 15 National Parks, Northumberland National Park is the northernmost in England and covers an area of more than 1000 square kilometres, stretching from the Scottish border to just south of Hadrian’s Wall and covering about a quarter of the county.
