Rugby’s most prestigious trophies come to Hexham

It’s a big year for rugby in the North East, with the Heineken Champions Cup and European Rugby Challenge Cup finals both set to be held in Newcastle this year. And tomorrow, pupils at St Joseph’s Middle School and Queen Elizabeth High School in Hexham are being given the chance to see the two trophies for themselves. The trophies will visit the two schools as part of a three-week tour organised by Go North East. What an exciting experience!
