Appearing on At the Races being interviewed about the future of racing 11.30 14th Ocotber
Long ago I recorded an interview with the racing channel At The Races and this is being aired on Tuesday 14th October at 11.30am - it is a programme called King for A Day and is all about the changes I, and other racing people, would like to see. Channel 415 on Sky, 534 on Virgin.

Ending 2011 on a Horse
Everyone knows I am horse mad, and knows that I would rather ride the Grand National winner than be PM [I accept neither is likely, but would happily do both!]. Delighted to be bringing the year to an end by riding out with a racehorse trainer. Also pleased to see Kauto Stars amazing win in the King George Chase at Kempton on boxing day
However, all is not rosy in the state of racing - as the BBC Racing Correspondent writes - naming the efforts of myself and Matt Hancock MP to bring racing into the 21st Century in the House of Commons.
