To raise awareness of the importance of communication amongst children and young people, the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists has teamed up with the National Association of Head Teachers to run this year's annual Voice Box joke competition. Mainstream and specialist primary schools in England and Scotland are invited to hold a joke-telling competition between October and November. A shortlist of the best jokes will then be made, with a national final at Westminster next year.
A fantastic way to show how just how important communication is, why not encourage your local school to take part in the competition? Find out more here-
