On Friday I attended a Public Meeting at
St Mary Magdalene Church in Whalton with Councillor Eileen Armstrong
to hear the views of local residents on the recent planning application for
nineteen homes on land to the south of Manor Close in Whalton.
Over 100 people attended the meeting, and a wide variety of
views were expressed. I would encourage everyone who has a view on this matter
to write to the County Council before the consultation closes on 17th
