Preserving the past

The Haltwhistle Great War Project aims to preserve World War One memories, documents and photographs from the former Haltwhistle Rural District. Taking place every Thursday morning from 10am at Land Factor, Market Place in Haltwhistle, anyone is welcome to attend, whether you want to help out, have your own WW1 stories you would like to research, or just want to find out more about the project over a cup of tea. As we mark 100 years since the end of WW1, it is so important that we keep memories of the war alive for generations to come.
