This weekend ten of Hexham's hidden gardens are being opened up to the public to raise money for the Hexham Community Partnership. The gardens will be open on Sunday 16th June from 1.30pm-6pm- entry to all ten gardens is £5, with under 16s free. The gardens will also feature live music, raffle prizes, tea, cakes and garden advice.
You can get your tickets and a map of the gardens from Cogito Books in Hexham, or on the day at either of the starter gardens- Bridge House, Shaftoe Leazes or Queen Elizabeth High School Walled Garden.
