Support your local butchers, or you will lose them, however good they are. And the Blagdon Farm Shop butchers are truly exceptional. Try their sausages, in particular.

Shop local! And back British and Northumberland farmers

Use it or lose it - our farmers need our support and we need them! Ask yourself if you are really buying local? Are you going to your local market for your vegetables rather than Tescos? Are you buying your meat at a butcher or getting poorer quality meat at a supermarket?
Use these local shops or you will lose them.
