Capability Brown 300th anniversary this month - come to Kirkharle in Northumberland to see his origins and inspiration

Born August 30th 1716 Brown was the fifth of six children and son of a yeoman farmer and houseservant. Brown went to school and church locally and then became the greatest landscape designer of his generation. He was baptised at St Wilfred's Church at Kirkharle.
