Corbridge’s much-loved
bookshop, Forum Books, has moved to new premises. The shop is now found in the
former Market Place Methodist Chapel, a building full of history that is Grade
II listed and dates back to 1867. Many features of the Chapel remain, with pews,
the pulpit and the hymn board incorporated into the shop’s design. Forum Books
is one of the best independent bookshops in the country, so next time you’re in
Corbridge, make sure to pay a visit and have a look round its new home!
