Have you got the Bottle?!

I would like to congratulate Kenny Brunskill, who has been nominated for a Historic England Angel Award in the Best Craftsman or Apprentice category for his work to repair the Corbridge Bottle Kilns. The Corbridge Bottle Kilns were built in the early 19th century and are one of the only remaining examples of a Tyne Valley rural pottery. Kenny is a mason and has carried out vital repairs to the buildings, including repointing and brick replacement.

The Angel Awards are run by Historic England and are supported by the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation with the aim of celebrating local volunteers and groups who make a lasting difference to their local heritage.

You can help Kenny win another award- the Historic England Followers' and Telegraph Readers Favourite award- by voting here- https://historicengland.org.uk/get-involved/angel-awards/best-craftsperson-or-apprentice/corbridge-bottle-kilns/

Good luck Kenny!
