What a day yesterday was! I had a great time attending the launch of the Great Northumberland programme, and then I was of course delighted to see the England team progress to the semi-finals of the World Cup. Huge congratulations to Gareth Southgate and his team.
The weekend is not over yet though, so if you’re planning a day out in the sun today, why not go along to Newbrough Hall. From 2pm-6pm today they are holding an open garden event in aid of the British Red Cross. Admittance is £5, and as well as having the chance to look around the beautiful gardens, there will also be a plant stall and refreshments. A perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon- and all for a very good cause.
