We have a fantastic event coming up in Northumberland
in September when the longest stage of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain will take
place entirely in the county. Stage 2 of the Tour will start in Kielder on the
4th September and will end in Blyth with around 120 professional
cyclists taking part. Before that there will be a two-day cycling festival in
Kielder organised by Northumbrian Water and the Forestry Commission with
cycling races and activities for all ages. There will even be a big screen so
that everyone can watch the first two days of the tour. It promises to be a
fantastic few days and will be a great opportunity to show off our county.
