The National Insurance Contributions Bill introduces the Employment Allowance of up to £2,000 a year for all businesses, charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs to offset against their liability for National Insurance contributions, as announced at this year’s Budget. Put simply this bill will help employers, reduce their tax bill and create jobs. It passed the House of Commons last night.
