It's not long now until the Tour of Britain will return to the roads of Northumberland. Monday 4th September will see day 2 of the race pass some iconic landmarks including castles and the Kielder Dam. The race will start in Kielder Water and Forest Park and will pass through the Northumberland National Park, as well as many of Northumberland's towns and communities. You can watch the start of the race as the cyclists prepare to set off at Kielder Water and Forest Park at 10.15am on 4th September- it is fantastic to see the race return to Northumberland and I encourage everyone to go along and support some of the world's best cyclists as they cycle through Northumberland.
