Acomb planning fiasco- My support for residents

Residents in Acomb are deeply unhappy about a development of 40 homes on land at Garden House Lane by Avant Homes, and I would like to make clear my support for them. Not only were 75 objections lodged by residents, but the development has now been changed so that homes are being built higher than was previously agreed in the approved plans so that the privacy of residents is being compromised as building work is above the height of their garden fences. I find it shocking that the residents of Acomb are not being listened to, and I have written to both Avant homes and the county council and I will be pressing Avant to reconsider the situation.
