Yesterday was
one year since the devastating terrorist attack on Westminster Bridge in which
five people lost their lives. PC Keith Palmer, Aysha Frade, Kurt Cochran,
Leslie Rhodes and Andreea Cristea were remembered yesterday with a minute’s
silence in the House of Commons, while the Prime Minister laid flowers near to
the site of the attack in their honour. I would like to thank our emergency
services who work so hard to keep us safe, putting their lives at risk to
ensure our safety. We will not forget the innocent people who lost their lives one
year ago.
Terrorist attacks can happen anywhere and at any time and it is important that we are all vigilant. If you see anything at all that you think is unusual or suspicious, contact your local police force.
